This year, the University of Latvia (LU) and the Riga Technical University (RTU) have fallen to a lower position in the international ranking of universities “QS World University Rankings”.
in 2017 RTU entered the rating for the first time, taking 651-700 place and getting three stars.
LU took 701-750 places and four stars (from 5).
In 2018 RTU took 751-800 places and also received three stars.
LU lowered their positions to 801-1000 ones, and received four stars.
University of. Stradina first entered the list and ranked 801-1000 in the ranking.
Lithuania is still represented in the rating by four universities:
Vilnius University (488th place),
Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (581-590 places), (three stars)
Kaunas University of Technology (751-800 places)
The University of Vytautas the Great (801-1000 places) (two stars) ..
Estonia this year is represented by three universities.
Tartu University (321st place)
Tallinn Technological University (601-650 places)
Tallinn University (851-1000 places).
The stars of “QS” are not assigned to any Estonian university.
The rating of the top three educational institutions has not changed, they are the following:
