According to the new information of the Directorate of Road Traffic Safety (DRTS) in Latvia, there were registered 14,508 new passenger cars in the first quarter of 2018.
Also during this period there were registered: 2167 trucks (almost 8% more than in 2017), 87 buses (three more), 345 motorcycles and tricycles (9.4% more), 197 mopeds (21, 8% more), 42 ATVs (two less), 1,510 trailers and semi-trailers (8.3% more).
In the first 3 months of 2018 in Latvia, 18,856 vehicles were registered, that is 8.7% less than in the same period in 2017.
In 2017, 68,081 cars were registered in Latvia for the first time, but this is 12.3% less than in 2016.
