In the spring of 2019, the telecommunications company Lattelecom will change the name and the main brand on Tet, said the chairman of the board, Juris Gulbis.
He said that under the brand Tet there is a Lattelecom division that deals with electricity trading, but now “this will be a brand of new technologies with new energy that will continue to develop abroad.”
“The current name no longer reflects the company’s activities. We have long been working outside the borders of Latvia, successfully exporting our services to the Baltic countries, Northern and Eastern Europe. Our service package goes beyond the telecommunications industry,” said Juris Gulbis.
According to him, along with the name change, the organization of work in the company will also change, as well as its further development.
The head of the company explained that under the name Tet, the company will develop two brands: the technological brand Tet and the entertainment brand Helio.
The Lattelecom group includes enterprises Lattelecom, Lattelecom BPO, Citrus Solutions, Lattelecom Technology, Helio Media and Baltijas Datoru akadēmija. The consolidated turnover of Lattelecom in 2017 amounted to 195.67 million euros, profit – 40.7 million euros
