The output of industrial products slowly grew up

The output of industrial products in July 2018 compared to July 2017, according to the calendar-adjusted data in comparative prices, increased by 3.6%, according to the Central Statistical Bureau.

In the manufacturing industry, the increase was 1.2%, in the mining and quarrying industry it was 11.4%, in electricity and gas supply – 10.1%.

For the year, the production of wood and products from it increased by 11%, beverages by 7.3%, electrical appliances by 13.2%, cars, trailers and semi-trailers by 36.3%, chemicals and products by 26.2% %.

There was a decrease of the volume of repair of equipment and devices (by 14.3%), paper and paper products (by 9.1%), printing and reproduction of records (by 7%), production of non-metallic mineral products (by 5%) and food products by 4.2%).

In July 2018 compared to June, the release of industrial products for calendar-levelled data in comparative prices increased by 1.7%, electricity and gas supply included – by 7.5%. The decline in the manufacturing industry was 0.8%, in the mining and quarrying industry – 0.2%.

In July 2018, compared to July 2017, the turnover of manufacturing industry, according to calendar-adjusted data, in actual prices increased by 8.8%. In the local market, the growth was 9.8%, in the export market – 8.2%, including the eurozone – 5.9%, outside the eurozone – 10.3%.

In July 2018 compared with June, the turnover of manufacturing industry, according to seasonally adjusted data, fell by 1.6%. Turnover in the local market increased by 1.6%, in the export market it fell by 3.3 %% (the growth in the  eurozone amounted to 0.1%, the decline outside the eurozone was 7.6%).
