The majority of Latvian residents believe that new people should come to power in the country, according to a poll conducted by the sociological agency SKDS.
In a survey conducted in August, the respondents were asked whether they would like to see the previous parties and politicians remain in power after the parliamentary elections, or people who had not yet ruled the country had to come to power.
68% of the survey respondents answered that it would be better if absolutely new people came to power. Opinions that the current parties and politicians should remain in power are held by about 11% of the respondents.
Each fifth participant did not have a specific opinion on this issue.
In the survey, 1015 respondents participated.
