Christopher Cavoli plans to discuss with the commander of the National Armed Forces (NAF) of Latvia Lieutenant-General Leonid Kalnins the Saber Strike 2018 international military exercises in the Baltic countries and Poland, as well as the conduct of the Atlantic Resolve operation in Latvia, and other topical issues of the defense industry.
Leonid Kalnins commented on the visit of Kavoli: “Military exercises Saber Strike are led by US forces in Europe, so Lieutenant General Kavoli’s visit to Latvia can be considered a confirmation not only of our strategic partnership, but also of the importance of these exercises in strengthening the defense capabilities of Latvia and the region.”
Cavoli personally plans to attend the Saber Strike 2018 exercise in Latvia.
