Latvian companies were able to enter the TOP 500

Four Latvian companies were able to enter the TOP 500 enterprises of Central and Eastern Europe, represented by the International Credit Insurance Company Coface. The list also included 18 companies from Lithuania, and 5 Estonian companies. Latvia closes the list of enterprises. The leader is Poland, which represented 168 enterprises, 2 position was taken by Hungary; it introduced 75 enterprises, and the third place belonged to the Czech Republic, which presented 71 companies.

Latvia was represented by:

– Rimi Latvia, engaged in retail trade (206th in the list);

– wholesaler of mineral fertilizers Uralchem Trading, (231st place),

– retailer Maxima Latvia (270th place),

– electric power company Latvenergo, which occupies the 359th place.

The wholesale trader of fuel Orlen Latvija, natural gas dealer Latvijas Gāze and fuel sellers Neste Latvija and Circle K Latvia (formerly Statoil Fuel & Retail Latvia) flew out of the list. The leader of the Lithuanian market – the company Orlen Lietuva – took the 20th position, and the leader of the Estonian market Ericsson Eesti – 125th place.
