FRENCH President Emmanuel Macron’s government has set up a panel of experts to assess the impact of a draft trade deal between the European Union and the South American bloc Mercosur over major concerns about the accord. Paris, which has voiced concerns over the risk of a surge in South American agricultural exports to the bloc, welcomed a “good” deal but stressed it would remain “vigilant”.
